GENERAL INFORMATION

All sites are based on one family of four, (2 adults, 2 children), full hook-up.

Reservations

Advance reservations are suggested. A reservation guarantees a site, but not a specific site. Of course, we will do our best to accommodate site requests when possible. We require full payment at time of reservation to reserve a site or rental unit. Festival weekends require full payment at time reservation is made, and all tickets purchased are non-refundable. We will provide 2 vehicle parking passes per site/unit. All additional vehicles will cost $10 per day. No reservations will be held without full payment.  Check in time for rental units is 3:00 PM and check in time for RV sites is 1:00PM. General check out time is 11:00 AM.

Cancellation Policy 

We are no longer holding money for future reservations.

Reservation Cancellations
• Same-day cancellations or early departures will result in forfeiture of all payments made.
• Cancellations made 14 days or more before your date of arrival receive a full refund minus a $20 administrative fee.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the date of arrival:
      o Non-event/holiday reservations: Forfeit one night’s rental rate plus a $20 administrative fee per site.
      o Event/holiday reservations: Forfeit all payments made.
• If your reservation includes one event/holiday rate, the entire reservation follows the event/holiday cancellation policy.

Extended Stay Cancellation Policy
• A minimum stay of 60 days is required to qualify for a security deposit refund.
• A 7-day written notice of departure is required for any deposit refund.
• If cancelled 14 days or more before your date of arrival, 50% of the $250 security deposit will be refunded.
• If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, the full $250 deposit is forfeited.
• Extended-stay guests may reschedule once, and the new arrival date must be within 30 days of the original arrival date.

Credit Card on File

All reservations require a credit card to be held on file (in a secure PCI compliant program). In the event Rockahock’s property is damaged, lost or stolen during your stay this card can be used to reimburse Rockahock for replacements.

Golf Cart

*If you would like to bring a golf cart to the park there is a fee of $20 (with proof of insurance) or $25 (without proof of insurance)

Note: Golf cart may only be driven by persons with a valid driver’s license. Operators without a valid driver’s license may operate the golf cart as long as they are at least 12 years old and supervised by a licensed adult 21 years or older.

Pets

*NO PETS ALLOWED in lodging units. Pets ARE allowed on campsites if they are on a leash. Aggressive Pets are not allowed on the property – No breed restrictions.

Smoking

*NO SMOKING ALLOWED in lodging units.

For Cottage, Villa and Yurt Rentals: Linens

*Please note that our vacation rentals do NOT come with linens, however if you would like us to provide them, we can do so for a nominal fee. Linens includes one set of sheets, pillows, blanket and towels. We will not refresh the set of linens, only one set for the entire stay. We will not provide linens for extended stay reservations. Please give us a call at (804) 966-8362 to add linens to your reservation.

Pool Rules

• For Residents and Campers only. Must have ID & Site #

• No Lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk

• No glass containers, food, or Alcoholic beverages

• No running, diving, horseplay, offensive behavior, or drinks in pool

• No pets, no floats, stay off rope

• Children under the age of 12 cannot use pool without adult supervision

• Pool hours, while open, 10 AM to 8 PM

Campground Reminders

Quiet time is between 11PM and 7 AM

Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed on your site and by those allowed by VA Law.

Children under the age of twelve using the play areas including the swimming pool should be under adult supervision

Guests and Visitors

For guests to gain approval to enter the park for a day at no cost, the Lessee must notify the Welcome Center of ALL guests entering the campground or use the guest notification service on our website, under the Contact Us menu option. Please give the Welcome Center plenty of notice, preferably 24 hours, so that the guests are not charged any fees. All non-approved guests will be charged $10/day/vehicle for access on the Rockahock property, $10/day/person during holiday events. Rockahock will not issue any refunds to guests that are invited by Lessees after the guest has paid to enter the park. Lessor agrees to approve entrance to Rockahock signatory Lessees invited Guest at no cost, upon completion and compliance with the explained requirements.

Additional Charges

Boat launch is (non-campers) $10.00 per vehicle, fishing from the bank or pier is $10.00 per vehicle. Sewage Dumping Service (non-campers) $15.00.

Non-admittance

Rockahock Campground Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to any potential customer if they have been ejected from any other campground due to lease Breach of Agreement.
