GENERAL INFORMATION

All sites are based on one family of four, (2 adults, 2 children), full hook-up.

Reservations

Advance reservations are suggested. A reservation guarantees a site, but not a specific site. Of course, we will do our best to accommodate site requests when possible. We require full payment at time of reservation to reserve a site or rental unit. Festival weekends require full payment at time reservation is made, and all tickets purchased are non-refundable. No reservations will be held without full payment.  Check in time for rental units is 3:00 PM and check in time for RV sites is 1:00PM. General check out time is 11:00 AM.

Cancellation Policy 

We are no longer holding money for future reservations.

Holiday Cancellations:

Holiday & Festival cancellations require at least a 30-day notice prior to the reserved date of arrival to receive any refund. If this notice is given, guests will receive a refund minus a $10 administrative fee (per site within the reservation). This includes Memorial Day Week, Independence Day Week & Labor Day Week.

If guests cancel their reservations within 30-days prior to the reserved date of arrival, guests forfeit ALL Payments made to Rockahock.

Non-Holiday Cancellations:

All other cancellations require at least a 14-day notice prior to the reserved date of arrival to receive any refund. If this notice is given, guests will receive a refund minus a $10 administrative fee (per site within the reservation)

If these cancellations are received within 14 days prior to the reserved date of arrival, guests will result in a forfeiture of one night’s rental rate plus a $10 Administrative Fee (per site within the reservation)

If guests cancel their reservations on the reserved date of arrival or check out early, guests forfeit ALL payments made to Rockahock.

Extended Stay Cancellations:

To qualify for a Security Deposit refund, the occupant must stay a minimum of 30 days. If the reservation is cancelled prior to arrival, the occupant is eligible for a full refund if the cancellation is made 30+ days out from arrival. Cancellations made 14+ days out will receive 50% of the deposit back. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will forfeit the whole security deposit.

Extended Stay reserved date of arrival is able to be adjusted once. The farthest a reserved date of arrival can be pushed back is 30 days. 

Credit Card on File

All reservations require a credit card to be held on file (in a secure PCI compliant program). In the event Rockahock’s property is damaged, lost or stolen during your stay this card can be used to reimburse Rockahock for replacements.

Golf Cart

*If you would like to bring a golf cart to the park there is a fee of $20 (with proof of insurance) or $25 (without proof of insurance)

Note: Golf cart may only be driven by persons with a valid driver’s license. Operators without a valid driver’s license may operate the golf cart as long as they are at least 12 years old and supervised by a licensed adult 21 years or older.

Pets

*NO PETS ALLOWED in lodging units. Pets ARE allowed on campsites if they are on a leash. Aggressive Pets are not allowed on the property – No breed restrictions.

For Cottage, Villa and Yurt Rentals: Linens

*Please note that our vacation rentals do NOT come with linens, however if you would like us to provide them, we can do so for a nominal fee. Linens includes one set of sheets, pillows, blanket and towels. We will not refresh the set of linens, only one set for the entire stay. We will not provide linens for extended stay reservations. Please give us a call at (804) 966-8362 to add linens to your reservation.

Campground Reminders

Quiet time is between 11PM and 7 AM

Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed on your site and by those allowed by VA Law.

Children under the age of twelve using the play areas including the swimming pool should be under adult supervision

Guests and Visitors

All guest, additional family members and friends are requested to register at the guardhouse or office upon arrival. A visitor is anyone who is not registered with the original party. All fees are payable upon registration. We allow a maximum of eight persons and two vehicles per campsite including visitors. We reserve the right to limit the number of persons occupying and / or visiting a site. Please give us a notice of their arrival. Visitors not on the guest list will be charged $10.00 per person per day.

Additional Charges

Boat launch is (non-campers) $10.00 per vehicle, fishing from the bank or pier is $10.00 per vehicle. Sewage Dumping Service (non-campers) $15.00.

Non-admittance

Rockahock Campground Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to any potential customer if they have been ejected from any other campground due to lease Breach of Agreement.
